Covid-19 Remote Learning Plan
Please find all the information for Viewlands Remote Learning Plan on our Sway
The opportunities and experiences our pupils engage in are effectively aligned to the levels within Literacy and Numeracy; Scotland’s Curriculum. We have a very strong focus on children’s wellbeing, good mental health and engagement. Outdoor learning experiences enable problem solving, team work and creativity skills to flourish, while reinforcing the classroom contextualised learning. There is a key focus on the promotion and development of skills which increase our pupils’ digital capabilities and independent learning. We value connection, care and can-do.
Remote Learning is working on school tasks at home during normal "school" hours
Remote learning comes into place when:
- A whole class must self-isolate for 14 days due to a positive case being identified in the class or with staff member/s.
- A whole school moves to remote learning as instructed by the Scottish Government. This is not anticipated but cannot be ruled out due to the unknown nature of this pandemic.
- Individual pupil/s who are keeping well must self-isolate when: identified by and trace as a close contact to a positive case of COVID-19; extremely vulnerable (due to medical reasons).
